Today, June 20th, is World Productivity Day! While few may know about this “holiday”, I want to use this opportunity to discuss how you can jump start productivity in your personal and business life. Being productive means staying focused, being efficient, and creating streamlined processes in all you do. What helps YOU be your most productive self?
First, take a step back and see what productivity habits you already have. Maybe it’s as simple as a cup of good coffee and a normal morning routine. Maybe it’s to-do lists or computer systems that allow you to check off tasks as completed. Some businesses use CRMs, task management systems, or even staff meetings to stay focused on their goals.
Next, take this day to reflect on all you have done in the past year as a person or business. How have you improved your productivity? What ways can you increase your productivity? Are there skills or tools I could help you with to make this happen? Having a game plan is key, and that starts with a clear vision.
